Public galleries

Share a collection with anyone, no account needed

While Tagbox is a great tool for organizing your creative assets internally, it's also great for sharing your content with the world! This is done easily by sharing a link to a public gallery.

In a way, public galleries are like building your own website.

Β

Creating a public gallery

You can create a public gallery link from any workspace or collection by clicking "Share" on the top right of the screen and copying the link.

You can always unshare the link to block access.

Customizing the gallery

You can add a title, the description, and change the cover image for each collection, making the gallery look like an independent website.

Β

Who can see a gallery

Your team signs in and works according to their roles & permissions. A public gallery works differently - anyone with the link can open it, with no account and no sign-in, and they get view access only.

If you want people to find just the photos they appear in rather than browse the whole set, use a β€œFind My Photo” link instead.

Β

What visitors see

If you're signed in to Tagbox, you'll keep seeing the workspace according to your own permissions. Everyone else sees the gallery view.

The link works for anyone who has it, but we don't submit it to search engines, so it's unlikely to turn up in a Google search on its own.

Β

Embedding in other websites

One unique feature of our public galleries is that you actually embed it within your own website, allowing your users to enjoy it without leaving your website.

To embed a gallery in your site, add it as an iframe with the public gallery link as the β€œsrc” attribute. Read more about iframes.
