Traditionally, we'd keep our files in our file management system, where we could share them with others, but we'd bookmark our links and important websites on our browser, viewable only by us. Why should that be the case? After all, content is content, whether it's in a file, or on some site.
At Tagbox, we treat links just as we do any other type of content - you can save it, tag it, and share around with others.

Saving a link
Click Upload in the top right and choose the option to add a Link. Paste the URL, give it a name, and save.
What you can do with a saved link
Once it's in, a link behaves like any other asset in your library:
- Tag it - the same tags as your files, so a link about a campaign sits alongside the campaign's photos.
- Find it - links surface in search and respond to your filters.
- Collect it - add links to collections and share them with the rest of the collection.
- Edit it - open the link and change its name or description from the details panel, the same as you would for a file.
One thing that works differently
Version history doesn't apply to links. Versioning tracks uploaded files, and a link points at a page you don't control - if the destination changes, the link goes with it. When you need a fixed, versioned copy of something, save the file rather than the link.
